Sculptra
Sculptra (injectable poly-L-lactic acid) helps restore the skins natural collagen production. It restores the skins’ structure and volume. It helps maintain the normal collagen structure in skin that is lost with aging and tightens the skin. It last for up to 25 months after injection.
Treatment areas include Temples, cheeks, mid face, jawline, nasolabial folds, perioral lines, and low face.
Sculptra is a volumizing collagen stimulator injected deep into the dermal layer to help reinforce your skin’s structure and naturally produce new collagen. It helps restore fullness of deep facial wrinkles, folds, and sunken areas.
What to Expect When Receiving Sculptra
At your consultation, we will go over your health history and goals for your skin to see if Sculptra is the best option. The initial series of Sculptra treatments may consist of 1-3 vials initially with reevaluation in 6 months to determine if more is needed. Results can last up to two years before needing a touch-up.
After each injection, you can return to your normal activities, however, you may need to ice the area after treatment. You will also need to massage the treated area 5 minutes 5 times a day for 5 days after receiving each injection.
The full effect of Sculptra relies on your body and it building collagen. It therefor takes time 3-6 months for maximum results.

How is it different from regular fillers?
Sculptra is not filler. Instead of instantly adding volume as HA fillers do, Sculptra works by stimulating your body’s own collagen production. The result is more subtle, long-term improvement rather than immediate change.
What does it do to my face?
Sculptra helps restore volume loss, improve skin thickness, and soften lines over time. It gradually rebuilds your skin’s underlying structure, leading to a firmer, smoother and more youthful appearance- without looking overfilled.
Does it hurt?
Numbing is mixed into the product as well as a technique using cannulas instead of needles helps patients have a much more comfortable experience.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients need a series of 2-3 sessions about 4-6 weeks a part. This depends on age, skin condition and desired outcome.

Is there downtime?
There is minimal downtime. Some possible swelling, redness or bruising may occur, but most patients return to normal activities quickly.
Can it be dissolved?
It cannot be dissolved but can be adjusted if needed.

Results appear gradually over 4-12 weeks and can last up to 2 years. It is one of the longest lasting injectable options.
