What to Expect When Receiving Dermal Fillers

Your first visit will be a consultation to go over what’s best for your skin, get questions answered, and explain more in detail regarding the procedure. We will discuss your appearance goals, skincare concerns, medical history, prior cosmetic treatments, treatment options, and expected outcomes and results.

Before your procedure, we examine your skin and mark appropriate injection sites. We then clean the area well. During your procedure, the injection takes a few moments. We inject, massage, and evaluate the area being treated. After your procedure, if you are satisfied with the results, you are free to go. An ice pack may be used to help with swelling and discomfort that may occur into the following day. Results are temporary and can last about six months to 9 months..

You can expect each appointment to take about 60 minutes. We recommend avoiding intense physical activity for the first 24 hour to 48 hours.
